・Within 4 to 6 hours after departure: 75% of the guide’s fee
・After 6 hours after departure: 100% of the guide fee
Fishing Results
The guide will do us best to catch the fish, but please understand that the guides may not be able to meet your expectations due to the nature of the sport.
Please understand that we will not refund or reduce the fee due to fishing results.
Compensation for accidents during guiding
We take all possible precautions in our work, but in the event of an accident, we will respond within the scope of the pleasure boat insurance stipulated in the Law Concerning the Proper Operation of Pleasure Fishing Boats.
We will not compensate for any injury or accident caused by your own carelessness, or for any damage, theft, loss, or submergence of your property.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation so that we can continue to provide guide services for many years to come.

Lake Ikehara is about three hours from Osaka, so our standard plan is a two-day, one-night trip: we travel and settle in on the first day, then spend the whole of the second day on the water. Times may shift depending on your pickup point, the season, and the weather.
Day 1 — Travel, hot spring, and rest
We collect you from your hotel, Osaka Station, Namba, or Kansai International Airport. There is no fishing on the first day, so there is no need for an early start.
About three hours by car. The last stretch winds deep into the mountains of Nara — the scenery is already part of the trip.
We will help you reserve a room near the lake, at Anglers Base or The Curve Store (room rates are not included in the tour price), and take you straight there.
Before dinner we can take you to a village onsen, a natural hot spring bath. Ending the day in hot water is part of ordinary life in rural Japan, and it is something most visitors to the country never get to do.
It also loosens you up after the drive and sets you up for the early start tomorrow.
Anglers Base has a restaurant and a tackle shop on site. The Curve Store has a convenience store on the premises, so you can pick up anything you need for the morning.
Day 2 — A full day on the water
Dawn is the most productive time at Lake Ikehara. Being on the water at sunrise is the whole reason we build the trip around an overnight stay.
Your guide picks the areas and techniques for the day based on season, water level and weather. You have the entire day to work the lake rather than a few rushed hours.
We return to the ramp and pack up.
Roughly three hours back toward the city.
We drop you at your hotel, station, or the airport.
