Lake Biwa is the most famous bass fishing field in Japan, where a world record largemouth bass was caught in 2009.

The northern side of the lake is called “North Lake (“Hokko” Japanese)” and the southern side “South Lake(“Nanko” Japanese),” based on the Lake Biwa Bridge located in the center of Lake Biwa.
My main activity is in the North Lake area on the north side.
Magnificent Nature
The northern lake of Lake Biwa is home to “Offshore Shiraishi” and “Shirahige Shrine” as well as many other magnificent natural features, making it a great place to fish in a spectacular setting!
In spring, you can enjoy fishing while viewing the cherry blossoms on the lakeshore and have a very relaxing time!
Beautiful Fish
Largemouth bass in the northern lakes with small mouths and tight bodies.
Beautiful and fat fish grow in North Lake, where the water is deep (average lake depth 30m) and the lake’s current is very strong.
Catch these fish using the latest Japanese finesse techniques.
Nowadays, this would include mid-stroking Sakamata shad, drop shots of dice rubbers, no-sinker rigs of cover scat, glide baits, and swimbaits.
Various ways to fish
December through March is recommended for those who want to target big bass approaching 10lb or more.
Summer and fall are very easy to fish, and are recommended for those who want to enjoy fishing lightly while traveling.
The main method of fishing from summer to fall is drop-shot or jerkbait.

The guide fee includes the following

・Transportation from the hotel (designated location) to the boatyard

The above fees do not include accommodation and meals.
Lunch will be purchased at a convenience store on the way to and from the tour, and eaten on the lake, or at a restaurant accessible by boat.
Please let us know in advance if you wish to stay overnight.

We have basic English skills.
Previous clients have told us that my English is good enough for fishing.
We can use a translation application if necessary.
If you are unsure, we can hire an interpreter for an additional fee if necessary.
A fishing license is not required for bass fishing in Lake Biwa.
